The course’s topic focused on How to Avoid Ethical Violations While Using AI. It was made available for viewing to all Bucks and Montgomery County Bar members with options for in-person or online attendance. Last week our founder Catherine Cavella, Esq. presented an informative CLE course at the Bucks County Bar Association on May 30th, 2024, hosted by the IP Section. The course’s topic focused on How to Avoid Ethical Violations While Using AI. It was made available for viewing to all Bucks and Montgomery County Bar members with options for in-person or online attendance. During this event, Catherine focused on understanding AI in legal practices, how AI uses personal information, the risks presented with using AI tools, how attorneys are currently using AI, the PA Rules of Professional Responsibility implicated, and ways individuals and firms can protect themselves. The event concluded with a lively Q & A session with plenty of audience participation.
All participants received an AI Risk Assessment handout, valuable insight, and guidance for effective, ethical AI use within their law firms.
