With nearly 25 years’ experience practicing business and intellectual property law, Catherine Cavella has a wealth of experience to help businesses navigate trademark, copyright, patent and contract issues to maximize the return on their investment in innovation. She regularly advises and assists clients with contract, corporate, intellectual property and domain issues. She has obtained over a thousand trademark registrations for clients including product design and trade dress trademark registrations, and has worked with hundreds of inventors and numerous patent attorneys on utility patents in fields ranging from software to chemical processes. Catherine holds a bachelor’s degree in cello performance from California State University, Long Beach, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, and is pursuing a degree in microbiology. She is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Cavella Law Group and IP Works, PLLC.
